Instructions

Two players must grow trees, and the winner is the first to grow twelve fruits!!

Starting off the Game

You start off with a blank hillside where the two trees will grow.

At the top of the window there is an instruction bar:

Throughout the game, the idea is to buy stems, leaves, roots and fruits from the left hand side.

Items you can afford are lit up in yellow, like the stem above. Click the item to buy it.

The stem has now turned green - you have bought it. To change your mind, click on the circular green stem again.

Click on the beginning hex for the stem. It turns yellow:

Click on a next-door hex to finish the stem so that the stem goes towards the sky.

Here we have made the stem go straight up but we could have gone diagonally. Starting Off the Game

...then in a similar way, we buy a root and join it to the stem.. Starting Off the Game

Then click End Turn, and let Player 2 have a go.

Player 1 grows his tree on the left hand side, Player 2 on the right.

The computer will now take his go.

After Player 2 clicks End Turn, the first go is over.

The player must roll the die three times every go (except the very first).
This determines the weather, and what tokens you get!

So player 1 clicks on Roll!...

...and she has rolled a three, which is wind.

How the weather works:

Weather	Tokens
Sunshine	One sun token per leaf
Rain	One water token per root end
Wind	One CO2 token per leaf and per stem end
Sun & Rain	Rain and sun happen!!

So, the more leaves you have, the more sun tokens come your way. The more roots you have, the more water you can collect. The bigger your tree, the more CO2 you get.

The bigger your tree, the more tokens you get, and the faster you can grow!

Minerals

Minerals are found in the soil, but some soil has more than others. Sometimes, when you build a root, you discover a mineral in the ground. Minerals only produce a token when it rains.

Rain water helps the roots absorb the nutrients from the mineral.
